Annuity Reviews – Positive Reinforcement

Many of our clients have learned that hiring a consultant to perform a “project” on an

annual basis does not always yield desired and lasting results. In many cases it makes

better business sense to spread the work (and payment) throughout the year to reinforce

training and identify patterns within the organization. As a result, we provide many of

our coding & billing and compliance services through monthly or quarterly retainer

formats for our clients. Some of the benefits to the organization include:

Telephone Support Services

coding and billing personnel.

intermediaries and CMS to inquire about their positions regarding specific issues,

compliance interpretations, etc.

Attorney-Client Privilege Services

Due to the complex nature of health care coding and billing practices, and the potential

compliance implications resulting from errors or irregularities, some of our clients engage

CCI to provide coding and compliance services through their legal counsel, under the

protection of attorney-client privilege communication. The professionals at CCI

regularly communicate with health care attorneys, and are flexible to provide our services

under such a format as preferred by our clients.
